We are convinced that the sector of Information Technology and Business Process Out-sourcing (IT/BPO) in its widest interpretation has become one of the drivers of growth for the Philippines.

The sector has grown substantially in recent years, but the full potential of the Philippines as a hub for IT and IT-enabled services has still to be developed. The challenges to be addressed by both government and the private sector in a public private partnership range from effective marketing of the skills available in the country to creating the manpower resource able to catch the available business opportunities in all regions of the world.

The results of the 4th annual National Outsourcing Association Awards (NOAA) were announced on 18 October 2007 at a glittering ceremony in central London. Over the last four years, the NOAA has become a landmark in the acceptance of outsourcing as a legitimate business practice and recognizes the efforts of companies or people who have shown excellence in the field of outsourcing.

The Philippines was awarded "Best Offshoring Destination of the Year" by the National Outsourcing Association (NOA) of the United Kingdom during its fourth annual award ceremony in London.
