Culture Gap in Outsourcing

While the Philippines is competent in delivering outsourcing services, it lacks the know-how to bridge the cultural gap in meeting client expectations. According to Dr. Butterworth, American Data Exchange Corp, outsourcing services require very skillful project managers to know the client and its requirements. 

Typical mistakes made are underestimating requirements, not meeting expectations, over promising, under delivery, targets vague and expectations too high. These eventually escalate to bad relationships and cancelled contracts.
